Dr. Choi

Dr. Sun Hae Choi was born and raised in South Korea and her family moved to the States when she was 17. She graduated from University of Michigan with B.S. in Cell Molecular Biology and decided to pursue dentistry since she liked the idea of helping others with her skills and knowledge. Dr. Choi received her D.M.D. (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) from Tufts University of Dental Medicine in Boston in 2008. She then completed General Practice Residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York in 2009. After her residency, she practiced as an associate at private practices in Massachusetts and in the bay area, California for over 14 years. Dr. Choi has also been a certified invisalign provider since 2011.

While Dr. Choi is an advocate of minimally invasive dentistry and preventative dentistry, she loves learning about newer technologies and inventions to provide her patients the best care. She is dedicated to honing her skills by attending continuing education courses throughout the year. Dr. Choi is an active member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Contra Costa Dental Society.

In her free time, Dr. Choi enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, playing tennis, hiking, and visiting museums and parks.

Miriam has been in the dental field for over 10 years and she is passionate about providing the best patient experience. She is the first person you will see as you enter our office and she will welcome you with a warm smile. She enjoys hearing about your day and assisting you with any questions you may have.

When she is not assisting you in the office, she is usually searching up a new recipe to cook for her family. She also enjoys being outdoors, reading a great book, and discovering a new local eatery.

Jessica graduated from Carrington College in 2011 and has enjoyed working as a DA and OA ever since. She enjoys seeing patients and making them feel comfortable at every visit. Outside her field, she likes to spend time with her family, head out to Reno, Tahoe or to San Francisco. She likes to do things that most ladies do not do; for example, jump out of an airplane, go shooting at the range, or shark fishing at the SF Pier. She does not fear, and everyday she stays positive and has faith.
